I've been using Cadmus in the meantime, not as awesome as noisetorch but it
seems to play a bit nicer in pipewire for me at least.

While this project is sorting out its security issue and advising people not to use it, it would probably be a good idea to direct those users towards an alternative application, even if it is heavier and more complex than NoiseTorch. Giving people an option other than NoiseTorch is better than no option, as they might choose to value convenience over a potential security risk.
