Noise torch quit working #446
-
I have been using NoiseTorch successfully for a couple of years, but suddenly it stopped working. My system uses PulseAudio. I tried the troubleshooting advice given here: https://github.com/noisetorch/NoiseTorch/wiki/Troubleshooting When I open PA Volume control and speak into my mic., I see movement for the mic. itself, but not for "Null Output" or "LADSPA Plugin Noise Suppressor for Voice (Mono) on Null Output", nor for the NoiseTorch microphone. The commands listed for Arch did not work on my system. Anyway, I don't think my microphone would suddenly report as being stereo. I checked the ~/.pulse/daemon.conf configuration file, and it already contains this: default-sample-rate = 44100 My operating system is Feren OS. Can anyone tell me how to get NoiseTorch working again? |

Never mind! I had the wrong input device selected, so NoiseTorch was not filtering my microphone at all. I'll leave this posted in case someone else has trouble by making the same mistake. |
