Previosuly we used hnsd + systemd-resolved as the default resolver and it was good-- until we attempted to support the odroid c2 and mistakenly used it as though it had a hardware random number generator like the rpi4 does.

Then we removed hnsd + systemd-resolved and it was bad.

There are three great tests for dns that I like, and two of the tests only work in Vietnam:

  1. run a polkadot node, if it does not complain, dns is correctly configured
  2. if in VN, go to medium.com
  3. if in VN, visit a site offering pornography
