Would you like a bigger modal or a smaller one?

I'd be interested in this as well. Love NyroModal, but it would be nice to be able to present a page with just a single, outer scrollbar, and allow the modal to consume as much space as it needs to avoid an inner scrollbar. Like choonoi says, just like the FB photo viewer. We use the fit-within-viewport functionality elsewhere on our site, but this feature would be most appreciated.

I would also use this. Have been trying to hack it and making it work but integrated feature flag would be great!

The photo viewer in facebook looks more like an HTML page than an image itself to me, to add the comments on the right.
To do so with nyroModal, I would recomand using ajax features with HTML loading.

I'm not sure to understand exactly what you mean when you're talking about that.
Could somebody be more explicit with a screenshot or something?

The overall idea is that having a scrollback in a modal and then a scrollbar in the outside window is bad UX, so we want a modal to be taller than the current browser and full height just hidden below the fold and the modal not to have a scroll bar in it -- only to have a scroll bar in the outside browser window and you scroll the outside window to see the bottom of the modal, not the modal. Kind-of diagram here:

In that diagram, below the fold would not be visible until you scroll down in the window.
