Selection in numbering,bullets and alphanumbering doesn't redline on tracking changes

While deleting individual letters works fine, on a selection, on tracking changes, instead of redlining the deleted selection, that selection disappears leaving changes untracked. Further, another character before the start of the selection may get redlined which should have not been touched at all.

All of this happens within content using numbering, bullets and alphanumbered lists.
