My choice is to have the logo on the title slide only, in the bottom left. I want to use the beamer template interface as much as possible.

  • Add a predefined option for the beamer-template sidebar right that does not include the logo.
  • Add a predefined option for the beamer-template sidebar left that does include the logo? Some might want it.
  • Add a predefined option for the beamer-template title page that does include the logo.

Then the logo can be declared using a combination of:

\pgfdeclareimage[options]{logo}{logo.ext}
\logo{\pgfuseimage{logo}}
