Combo box selection change emulation possibility

Suppose, combo box selected item changing required. Is there any possibility to achieve this?
If "yes", maybe exists some example?
If "no", maybe exists some plans to add this possibility in the future?

The way I read your question is that you would like to change the state of the combo box using atspi?
I don't think atspi can help you with that. Atspi can mostly just listen for events as they happen in the GUI.
