I have an entity that does not allow a NULL value for phone number:

    #[ORM\Column(type: 'phone_number', nullable: false)]
    #[AssertPhoneNumber]
    private PhoneNumber $phone;

This change allows an empty PhoneNumber object to be transformed to be displayed on the form.
