[Guide] How to run a native steam instead of modified client.

The goal is to disable steam browser and launch steam as bigpicture mode. (Saving memory, just like you modify shortcut on windows and add console params)

Launch wine

Download the steam from website and install

Navigate to Desktop directory and you will see the Steam.lnk, which is the shortcut on windows.

Create a file named xxx.vbs (visual basic scripts on windows)

Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
Set Shortcut = WshShell.CreateShortcut("C:\users\your_username_on_termux\Desktop\Steam.lnk")
Shortcut.TargetPath = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe"
Shortcut.Arguments = " -no-browser -bigpicture"
Shortcut.Save

Save

Right click and open

Then use the Steam.lnk to launch steam.

You can also check if the Steam.lnk is already modified, just right click it and check if there is parameter after steam.exe
