Currently the Duva project utilizes session cookies in order to authenticate clients on the API which works well but adds a challenge on when the user should logout / clear the cookie since the cookie is managed by Duva. Introducing API Tokens that can be utilized by clients would make it easier for users of the Application to manage their sessions since the application wouldn't lock the user to a specific session(cookie on the browser) after the first login.
Breakdown of the requested changes
Introduce an API Authentication method/flow
Deprecate session cookies as an authentication method; With plans of completely phasing it out in the next version 0.0.2 ? v1 ?
