We would like to follow sematic versioning for this plugin. Is this how the other plugins are versioned. We would like to start with 0.1.0 as this allows breaking changes without a major revision update. Allowed?

The GUI and all of its plugins use semantic versioning. You can start with 0.1.0. That's what we did for other plugins as well. The version number is specified in the OpenEphysLib.cpp file for each plugin here: https://github.com/open-ephys-plugins/acquisition-board/blob/main/Source/OpenEphysLib.cpp#L44
