This might belong in cse-core but I'm seeing it when using cse-cli, so reporting it here. It would be nice if the error message below could be a little bit more specific about exactly which connection or initial value is having problems.
error: conversion of data to type "double" failed

When does the error occur? Can you provide a test case?
