Hi -

I'm not at all sure where to ask this question, so I'll start here. I am setting up the demo referenced at http://openbaton.github.io/documentation/iperf-NSR/ and can't seem to get it running. I'm suspicious that specifying this in my NSD:

vnfPackageLocation: "https://github.com/openbaton/vnf-scripts.git"

might be a problem because I'm behind a firewall and we have to use a proxy to access external resources. Does whatever process that does the "git clone" (or whatever it does) use the default system proxy or does it even work with a proxy? Note that I'm running this on Ubuntu 14.04.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi @ftcjeff, I'm not sure you have been able to solve this issue. I apologise for the delay but we have been very busy during the last week.

In principle, there are two approaches while using the generic-vnfm:

HI @gc4rella - I'm actually in the process of re-creating my environment with OpenBaton 3.0. The new installer was much smoother than 2.x and I was up-and-running very quickly. I'm now trying to set up a devstack-based OpenStack PoP VIM and that is going MUCH LESS smoothly... once I have that set up (or some other OpenStack VIM), I'll let you know the status of the proxy issues. Thanks!
