I'd add a couple more categories, e.g. Tibetan to Buddhism, maybe Mormon and Pentecostal to Christian (also not clear why Anglican is a separate category), probably a "New religious movements", category, and a couple more "Other" categories, but otherwise that looks about right, and isn't that different than Wikipedia (albeit Wikipedia gets a few NRMs whose rituals/outreach apparently involves writing Wikipedia entries). Maoz-Henderson codes look pretty much like ours anyway, so we could modify those slightly. Gets us something more workable than CAMEORCS and more systematic than ICEWS.

Again, not as bad as ICEWS and relatively compact, but doesn't incorporate the fact these are naturally hierarchical. This must have been derived from a Middle East set (hmmm, like maybe from a KEDS codebook at some point...) since globally Copts, Maronites, Druze and Hasidim are fairly small. Though like everything else in PLOVER, possibly specify some defaults (or defer to CAMEORCS) if one does use these? Or do an "Other" + text-field?
