3D Touch for App Icon

It'd be great if we could configure an OpenHab item in the settings panel, that the state of that item could be manipulated via 3D Touch on the OpenHab app icon. The possible states should render from the SiteMap.

My use case:
I have a number item that isn't bound to a device, but is used in conjunction with the rules engine for scenes. My sitemap converts the number value to a Scene name in the UI. When the state of this item changes, rules are triggered to alter the state of physical devices in accordance with the desired scene.
