Current status:

  • Finalizing IBM Open Source Program agreement.
  • IBM/Marist is doing an inventory and determining anything else needed.
  • Open Mainframe Project GB has approved funding for 2024.

Update:

  • Final agreements signed.
  • Authorizing the maintenance contract as we speak.
  • Bruce Gilkes will be leading the work to bring the infrastructure online.
  • Vicom will be doing sys admin support once the infrastructure is online.

Target would be to have mentorships use the infrastructure this summer.
