Can the owner please mark the project as deprecated if there is no-one actively managing the Project

I've been struggling to run the Kafka benchmarking project for weeks now. The documentation is outdated with the current code base and there is no-one to support if things go wrong. I was able to fix most of the issues but now I've given up since it already has eaten up a lot of my time. Instead, I could just deploy and run benchmarks writing my own code.

I really appreciate the time and effort spent on building the project but please mark it deprecated so that the person using it knows it's not being actively managed and can avoid wasting time if they run into many issues.
