i cant get my steno protegé to get working with plover

hi. i recently change my computer for a lenovo with windows 11 home. i installed plover 4, got my drivers and all, but when i try to connect the machine with the plover... nothing. the pc did recognize the stentura protégé, but i don't get the plover to work with it. i switch the ports, uninstalled, installed, closed, opened, restarted, started again. tried older versions of plover.
on my old computer with windows 10 and plover 3, everything works wonders, but now in the new computer, i don't know what to do.
please help, i need it to work!!
