documentation sites involved:

  1. http://webwork.maa.org
  2. http://webwork.maa.org/wiki
  3. https://openwebwork.org
  4. https://demo.webwork.rochester.edu/webwork2 (examples)
  5. https://webwork.maa.org/planets
  6. https://webwork.maa.org/ (forums)
  • There are other wikis available besides mediawiki. (In fact we originally used twiki...). Consider whether we should switch.

  • Consider whether it is better to use something else (e.g. a static
website) for the landing page for WeBWorK. This would include gaining access to and
improving the current MAA version at http://webwork.maa.org. (I have begun experimenting
with Hugo for sites on demo.webwork.rochester.edu.)

  • We need to consider whether to clean up the drupal site at https://openwebwork.org (it currently has some, non-malicious, spam on its front page). It was hoped that the drupal site would be a more attractive alternative and easier to maintain. That might still be true but someone needs to take charge of organizing the drupal site. An alternative is to close it down, create a new site hosted differently and point openwebwork.org to another existing site or a new site built to be the front portal for webwork.
