Translation of new website into different languages

We are approaching completion of development for the newly updated website (pre-prod - https://preprod.organicmaps.pages.dev/) and the text content needs to be translated into different languages to make it useful for people around the world.

The new website is intended to provide more information which is easy to consume, and the updated design is to better reflect the features and values. The updated website will also help with improving SEO.

What exactly should us translators do?

@oleg-PK TBH text content of the new web site looks too raw to me to start translating it. E.g. it looks like the "Community" and "Volunteer" sections overlap a lot and texts in the latter are more suitable for a commercial company looking to fill open positions, but not fit for a volunteer project.

I might have missed it, but did it go through some discussion already?

New texts did not pass the review yet. We're waiting for the branch ready to test/review/fix and then merge to the master.

The English content has not been reviewed yet as there are still dev items remaining on the website, and a full round of testing is also needed.

This issue is to initiate the process of translation, although it appears that we don't have a process, which a non-technical translator can look at and start translating.

I started a doc for this, and it still needs to be worked through. Once confirmed, the process needs to be posted where contributors can easily find it.
