Table isn't converted properly

Says we have a simple table in Obsidian:

| --- | --- |
| C   | D   | 

It should be keep intact when preparing for Mkdocs. However linebreaks are added in between:

| A   | B   |

| --- | --- |

| C   | D   |

As the result the HTML page is like this:

<p>| --- | --- |</p>
<p>| C   | D   |</p>
