This project utilizes blind computation to accurately track daily calorie intake based on user inputs. Our application securely collects and processes dietary data from individuals to calculate their daily calorie consumption. By employing advanced encryption methods, our solution ensures that personal health information remains confidential and protected throughout the calculation process. This approach is ideal for users seeking to monitor their nutritional intake while safeguarding their privacy. It provides a reliable tool for managing daily dietary goals without compromising sensitive health data.
What problems does your project solve? How does it preserve privacy for users?
Accurate Calorie Monitoring: It provides users with a reliable tool to monitor and manage their daily calorie intake, aiding in maintaining a balanced diet and achieving health goals.
Privacy Preservation: The project preserves user privacy through several mechanisms:
Blind Computation: Similar to the approach used for meeting cost calculations in our previous project, it ensures that individual dietary data remains encrypted and hidden during computation.
Data Encryption: Utilizes robust encryption techniques to protect sensitive user information, such as personal health data and dietary habits, from unauthorized access.
Anonymous Aggregation: Allows for the aggregation of dietary data across multiple users without revealing individual details, thereby maintaining anonymity and confidentiality.
How does the project use Nillion? Describe and link to any Nada programs
We employed Nada for blind computation and utilized the CRA-Nillion JS starter repo, integrating various tools to ensure secure and privacy-preserving calculations.
