Schema for Learning Experiences on ONEST network

During the recent ONEST WIN room event, various Network Participants (NPs) within the Learning Experiences domain have adopted diverse structures for their protocol objects, such as catalogs, orders, items, and fulfillment processes. For instance, NPs used distinct elements for transmitting information like author names, content sizes, URLs for content playback, associated content items, and more. Also, the examples available in the DSEP GitHub repository do not provide a comprehensive reference for establishing a standardized schema.

This discussion thread is to collaborate and formulate a unified schema definition for the Learning Experiences domain within the ONEST ecosystem. Request the community to share inputs on the following aspects of the schema:

• List of Attributes: Identify the list of attributes for Learning Experiences and mark the attributes that are mandatory. Also, define attributes that influence the behaviour and articulate the expected behaviour for different attribute values. For example, attributes like price, content mime type, and their behaviour.
• Enums for Standardization: Standardize certain attribute values through enumerations. Determine which enums should be universally defined by the network and which ones can be customized or extended by individual NPs.
• Taxonomy Categories: Define taxonomy for categorizing Learning Experiences. This taxonomy may have multiple dimensions, such as the type of learning experience (e.g., course, resource, quiz) and the area of discipline (e.g., life skills, language skills).
• Relations: List relationships including parent-child relationships, connections to related items, such as supplementary content; and any others.
• Additional Considerations: Any other relevant factors or considerations that should be taken into account when defining this schema.

With a well-documented list of the above items, the objective is to map them to relevant elements within the DSEP/Beckn objects.
