its not a bad idea, though not sure if its needed? i mean this happens everywhere and validators usually have prune settings enabled so it shouldnt be an issue with disk size, apart from full nodes who need to store all data |

The current state of Euphoria Network is having about 3 millions transactions in 2 months. There are user activities through the Harmony game but truthfully most of it are auto compound transactions from validators. While compounding is not bad, it certainly make the ledger size bigger too much over time and taking block space too much.
At the moment, the default rewards distribution scheme is per block. So the more you compound, the more APY you will get. Osmosis and Evmos change this behavior by only releasing block rewards per daily 'epoch', so you only need to compound once per day rather than keep spamming the network.
I would like to propose a major change to Aurad to switch to this epoch base reward distribution. The code will be similar to Osmosis with some tweak to fit our tokenomics.
