How to stop Bentoml service initialize infinitely

I have some init logic in the service init method, the init logic my raise exception (e.g. failed to load some external configurations), in this case I hope the bentoml service fail directly, but when I run with bentoml serve service:MyService. it raise the exception infinitely.
How can I make the serve command fail if the init logic has exception raised ?
Here is my service code demo:

@bentoml.service(
    traffic={"timeout": 10},
)
class MyService:
    def __init__(self):
        # init logic
        raise Exception("init failed")

after read the wiki carefully, I put the logic in the on_deployment which solved my problem. Thanks to the wiki.
