Skipping project-specific .envrc under certain conditions

I would like to configure ~/.config/direnv/direnvrc to skip evaluating a project's .envrc when specific conditions are met.

# ...

if [ some_conditions ]; then
  exit 0
fi

However, when I tried this approach, it seemed that watch_file no longer worked as expected.

Additionally, is there a way to disable specific commands, such as use_flake, in certain projects?
