This update is a quality of life update focusing on important bug fixes and adding requested features. Users can update from Pacstall 4.0.0 or higher with pacstall -U pacstall:master, or reinstall using the deb file.

How to use the new features

i18n/l10n

Pacstall now supports prompt internationalization and localization! This means Pacstall can respond to you in your preferred language based on locale environment variables. You can find all currently supported languages here:

If your language is not yet supported, you can add it! You can work on translations either on our hosted Weblate (recommended), by editing the misc/po/<language_code>.po file, or by making a new one by running cp misc/po/pacstall.pot misc/po/<language_code>.po.

Once you have completed or partially completed a po file, make a PR and we will merge it! Our goal is to have as many languages translated as possible due to the amount of people who may not be fluent in English.
