Getting names of User's roles on Front End

Are there any front end APIs to get the list of roles that a given user is in, by name rather than by ID?

Right now I can:

const user = pimcore.globalmanager.get("user")
const roles = user.roles;

but that will return an integer rather than the string. I would like to then perform a front end show / hide of certain functionality based a user's role and ideally I can use the string name for the role.

Nothing client side. I exposed this endpoint to resolve the id (one at a time):

     *

    public function getRoleNameAction(Request $request)
    {
        $roleId = $request->get('roleId');
        $role = Role::getById($roleId);
        return $this->json($role?->getName() ?? "");
    }
