DataTable - enable Shift-Select for Checkbox Selection

Currently, with selectionMode="multiple", users can select a range of items by holding down the Shift key, e.g., clicking the 1st item, then Shift-clicking the 5th item will select items 1-5. However, this functionality is not available when selectionMode="checkbox". It would be very useful to have the same Shift-select range feature in checkbox mode to enhance multi-selection ease and efficiency.
