trading UI data load is too slow & constantly having to reconnect browser wallet on stale chrome tabs

Hi guys,

As I'm beginning to trade more and more on Vega, I find it painfully slow when navigating around the site. You have to wait a couple of seconds for all relevant data to load and it gets rather frustrating. For example when you're in the trading view and you click down on the market name to navigate to other markets, it takes forever to load volume and charts across other markets and it all happens asynchronously.

I've also started using the wallet browser vs desktop but it is frustrating to use as it seems to disconnect from the vega dapp after a while (typically for a stale chrome tab that has been open for a while and laptop has been shut and reopened) and won't reconnect until i click disconnect and reconnect the browser wallet. Even after a refresh this isn't fixed

Hi @jubiliance - thanks for your feedback.
It's possible this is related to the data node you're connected to, based on your location.

• You can try resetting Console, by clicking on the settings icon in the right sidebar. This will clear your local storage, disconnect and clear any redunandant wallet state, and when Console refreshes it will try to connect to another data node.
• You can also try switching to a different data node yourself. Click on the green/red dot on the bottom right of the Console view, and choose from the available list. One of them may be closer to you and thus provide a faster experience.

The browser wallet issue you had should be resolved in the new few weeks, work on improving it is in progress.

Thanks for the reply. Resetting console worked wonders, it's still not as snappy as i'd like but it is A LOT better than before ahahah. Thank you!
