Just happened to me on 22.04. The error message was: (electronplayer:249739): Gtk-WARNING **: 21:54:18.458: cannot open display: :0

Had to uninstall then reinstall the latest/beta version (2.0.8) through the Snap store. Now it works and I was able to log into Twitch

Hello,
I had the exact same issue and thanks to @fir3-1ce, your solution was great.
But now, I'm facing a new problem, electronplayer crashes the entire system.

I made some tests and I figured that when I watch a video on Netflix for about 30 minutes, if I hit a key on the keyboard or if I move the mouse, the system crashes.
The display freezes, the screen goes off and on again and I can't do a thing. No terminal, no Alt+F2, I can't kill any process. All I can do is a hard reboot.

It 's a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 (about 2 weeks ago) and I only tried Netflix on electronplayer.
I hope anyone could help me.
