This line of code seems like it maybe never worked? I changed it to st_make_valid and I'm getting an error.

sf::st_make_value() |>

Error: Not compatible with STRSXP: [type=NULL]. is the error I'm seeing. Will just comment out for now and hope for the best.

I just commented this out in #5 and everything works. So guessing this is a non-issue.
