Link EA Account to Steam Popup

Checklist

• I ensured I'm running the latest version of the patch, and that the issue is present in it if applicable

Your issue

This is more or less a question as to whether this is normal or intended behavior. I don't want to link my Steam and EA accounts (mainly because if I want to un-merge later, they likely won't let me because of incompetence).

Steps I took:

1. I originally had the EA app installed, but uninstalled it.
2. Then, I installed Origin according to the steps outlined in the readme, ran the .exe patch, tried loading up Mass Effect Legendary Edition, only to get this popup:

I think it's definitely intended behavior; I'm frankly not sure at the moment if you can unlink later on, or what potential issues it might cause. I don't think it's any different with EA App either, at least not for most games (some games like Apex Legends don't apply, but they were specifically coded to not require dependence on EA accounts)

as Steam is listed on the Connections page. Not sure what happens if one of the accounts gets banned though...
