Follow these steps for local development:

Bet you've read the Zen Of Python.

Clone your register_apps locally:
git clone [email protected]:papaemmelab/register_apps.git

Create a branch for local development:
git pull git checkout -b name-of-your-bugfix-or-feature
Now you can make your changes locally.

Create a test in:
register_apps/tests

Run pytest with coverage, pylint and pydocstyle using tox:
tox
To just run pytest:
py.test tests --cov=register_apps
To just check that your changes pass our pylint and pydocstyle requirements:
pylint --rcfile=.pylintrc register_apps pydocstyle --config=.pydocstylerc register_apps

Run tests inside the docker container:
bash test-container.sh

Commit your changes and push your branch to GitHub (see our
.gitmessage
