No emoji select dropdown with Gateway client/host #56

DropDown to select the emoji does not appear when using a client/host setup. Instead the 🎨 is instantly picket.
Tested with ssh and every possibility of the plugin installation on either host, client or both.

Not much to show, the emoji window just doesn't spawn and the :art is inserted in the textbox.
Before clicking or CTRL+ALT+G:

No emoji selection possible.
