I appreciate you folks are no doubt busy, especially at this time of year, but I wanted to make a non-urgent request for a new release of this plugin on pypi, please.
I was quite confused about why I couldn't get Open Graph data in my blog posts, after following the instructions on the README. I've now worked out it's due to unreleased fixes for #51 and #52. i.e. The README on main branch doesn't reflect the current v1.2.2 release from 2021 (and tbh I probably would have made the same mistake as the reporter of issue #51 even if I'd read the 1.2.2 version of the README).
Workaround is, of course, to install from the latest commit with something like git+https://github.com/pelican-plugins/seo.git@5a1810d. However, a new release would probably save future folks like me the time needed to work this out. 😁
If there's some specific fix or cleanup needed before a release is possible then I might be able to help out with that too, if it's not too involved.

Thank you for raising this topic, Angus. I have added this to my to-do list for early January and will update this issue when the new release has been published.
