Using pg_tde with Apache AGE

Is it possible to use pg_tde with postgres and the Apache AGE extension?
If yes, what would the syntax look like?

A few details:

The pg_tde README offers this example of creating an encrypted table:

Apache AGE uses vertices and edges. It uses a graph-oriented SQL variant called Cypher that follows openCypher conventions. A statement to create a new vertex type and populate it with data looks like this:

SELECT * FROM cypher('graph_name', $$ CREATE (a:Vertex_Type { data1: 'data 1 value', data2: 'data 2 value'} ) $$) as (n agtype);
