Thank you! We've already got a carve out for "appropriate exemptions" from vaccines, so this seems like a fitting extension of that. This one raises a somewhat tricky question though:
How might an event organizer, their volunteers, and participants enforce a mask mandate when it's not necessarily the case that someone not wearing a mask is in violation of the policy?
We don't need to solve this problem, but I'd like to explore it a bit so I've got something to offer organizers who are trying to reconcile these things. Also will be key in drafting my long overdue Organizer Guide 😅
Perhaps those granted an exemption should wear some sort of "masking exempt" badge? That still has problems, but it keeps them from being pestered by event "security" to mask up.
For the robust mask policy, there should be an exemption for those who have a medical inability to mask.
