My 9 Feb 2025 all day event "Flight 1" keeps getting added to Outlook and requests delete from google.

After setting the debug level it moved on to the next all day event.

The original calendar events were created in google and OGCS did the rest.

It's not clear if the problem originated whilst you were still running v2.10.0, so it would help if you can clear up the current situation so we can see the behaviour following on from that.

  1. Manually delete the duplicate Outlook AHR2025 appointments, leaving just one
  2. Follow the guidance to resolve unwanted deletions during 2-way sync.
  3. Re-enable two way sync

If it's still a problem, please provide the latest log file for further analysis.

Hi Paul,

Each one I fix then the issue shifts to the next event.

It's a bit of a bugbear when my posts are ignored, but I accept in this case it would not have helped resolve the issue.

When you say "Each one I fix then the issue shifts to the next event" is rather misleading, as I can't see how you are "fixing" them. The issue is your Outlook/Windows timezone is set to GMT and your Google calendar to South Africa Standard Time (+02:00) - so the all day events that start on the midnight of the end of your sync window are in scope in Google, but not in Outlook. So with no matching Outlook item, it wants to delete the Google item, which you decline and then it creates it in Outlook - a duplicate.

As far as I can tell, each new day, OGCS would have fixed up the previous duplicates it had made and then started duplicating any all-day items for the following day.

📦 That said it should behave better with hotfix v2.11.1.1.zip (see instructions for applying).

Please let me know how it goes!
