designate highest fidelity region mapping in mrremind?

For various computations that involve regressions on regional levels I use the regionmapping_21_EU11.csv region mapping, since that has the highest regional fidelity and country-level results shouldn't differ based on getConfig('regionmapping') (at least in my cases).
But there might be a new region mapping of even higher resolution, in which case we would want to upgrade to that. That, however, would require going through the code, changing all instances of regionmapping_21_EU11.csv.
Can we have a setting within mrremind pointing to the "designated region mapping of highest fidelity" for use cases like this?
