Version D of the SWOT River and Lake collections are expected to start forward stream in October 2024 January 2025. PO.DAAC's collection versioning is changing with this release to align with the CNES version names (ie version C, version D instead of 2.0, etc). To support new collection versions, need to:

  • verify collection version naming strategy with DPub and AppSci
  • create 'version D' dynamoDB tables for SWOT reaches, nodes, prior lakes in terraform
  • update data loading lambda functions to support new tables
  • ensure terraform roles applied to new tables
  • update constants file with new table names
