Problem with french username

Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release):
popos 21.10

Issue/Bug Description:
When entering my name in Full name, i use the é but the installer doesn't translate that to e in username like other distro installer do. The installer just cut the letter from the name.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

Just enter a é character in Full name to see it be cut in username.

Expected behavior:
Would be fun if popos could mimic other distro by replacing é with e so i don't have to put the letter myself.

Other Notes:

Not sure if i am in the right place to reports this bug.
