it's easy to get a mistake.

it's better to show the partition's '/dev/sdaX' path and its label on the pop-up dialogue or just like other distributes to list the partitions.

  1. have you a project to release with xfce desktop?

I've moved your issue to the installer frontend repository since that's where the code for the installer GUI is.

What kind of mistake do you find to be easy?

  1. have you a project to release with xfce desktop?

No. You can install the XFCE desktop manually after installation if you want to, though; you would be using the Ubuntu/Xubuntu XFCE packages if you do that. (It's worth considering if it makes sense to do this, or if it makes more sense to install whatever Pop!_OS components you're wanting to use on top of Xubuntu.)
