Ability to generate consolidated report or append to an existing report

I am trying to run multiple collections using an example mentioned here: https://github.com/postmanlabs/newman/blob/develop/examples/run-collections-in-directory.js

Currently, it seems we will be required to either write separate reports OR overwrite the existing report when running multiple collections using a single runner file.

It would be great to have a feature where we can append new requests to an existing report
