I had hard times with this line:

ROOT_DEV=$( awk '$2 ~ /^\/$/ && $1 !~ /rootfs/ { print $1 }' /proc/mounts )

Had to manually change it to

ROOT_DEV="/dev/vdb"

in order to make the script work
