Overview

List of work required to release Pulumi Service Provider out of beta, posting the first major version 1. PSPV1 will include all the breaking changes that should happen, but were always put off, as well as quality of life improvements.

Key KPIs

Usage and adoption of PSP.

Key Milestones

  • Commit to all necessary breaking changes
  • Standardize resources, their structure, inputs and secrets handling
  • Clear out existing, known bugs

At the risk of making an enemy of everyone responsible for doing this, do we wanna rename the provider? Would be nice for 1.0 since I think the name Pulumi Cloud is gonna (hopefully) stick.

Also, could we add #204 to scope? It's not as difficult as it was when I created that issue b/c we have stuff in pulumi/examples that covers the use case.
