Question: Standalone Insteon Manager?

(this is more of a discussion than an issue)

Is it possible / have you considered running the Insteon management as a separate service and communicate with Home Assistant via a backend (e.g. web socket)? That seems to be working well for the ZWaveJS project and might provide more flexible release schedules or advanced configuration options.

I'm sure there is more to it, but I thought I would at least plant a seed. I've been a long-time Insteon user and having a standalone management interface would be very nice for keeping my system updated. Thanks for your work and dedication to this!
