Unable to run "poetry add fasttext" successfully #8912

Hi! I am trying to install fasttext using poetry but running into the following error:

Consider moving TOML configuration files to /Users/kuanghan.huang/Library/Application Support/pypoetry, as support for the legacy directory will be removed in an upcoming release.

Note: This error originates from the build backend, and is likely not a problem with poetry but with fasttext (0.9.2) not supporting PEP 517 builds. You can verify this by running 'pip wheel --no-cache-dir --use-pep517 "fasttext (==0.9.2)"'.

Fasttext's README says one can install by pip install fasttext, and if I do poetry run pip install fasttext it does work for me. I'm wondering if anyone else can reproduce my error and if there is a way to use poetry directly?
