Looking at the distruted version of some config modules (e.g. ncm-network), I found some author/contributors surprising... Probably worth a cleanup effort...

Good point.

I'm working on a semi-automated fix for this, but we need to agree on some standards.

Firstly we have a mix of contributors and developers, based on the following definitions and our Git-based workflow I think every author now counts as a developer.

contributor

Description of a person who has contributed to the project, but who does not have commit privileges. Usually, these contributions come in the form of patches submitted.

developer

Information about one of the committers on this project.

Secondly, do we include email addresses?
If so, where do we get them from?
This is potentially messy.

Thirdly, what is the threshold for inclusion?
The source of aii-core has an opinion that it should be anyone with 10 or more commits.
