What did you expect to happen?

I added yay_arguments = "-yyuu --needed --noconfirm --overwrite '*'" to my ~/.config/topgrade.toml in order to circumvent yay throwing python-xxx exists in filesystem errors.

What actually happened?

topgrade does repot those errors anyway

Additional Details

  • Which operating system or Linux distribution are you using? I run Arch linux
  • How did you install Topgrade? yay -S topgrade
  • Which version are you running? Topgrade 9.0.1

If I run yay -Syu --overwrite "*" the upgrade runs as expected!

―― 17:22:13 - System update ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
Dry running: /usr/bin/yay --pacman pacman -Syu --overwrite '*'

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong!?

Btw. great project 😍
